Prof. Dr. Levent Alpay
Prof. Dr. Levent Alpay graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa) in 1993. He completed his specialist training in thoracic surgery at Istanbul Süreyyapaşa Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital in 2001.
Dr. Alpay spent a major part of his academic and clinical career at Süreyyapaşa Hospital, serving as a specialist physician, chief assistant, associate professor and professor. During this period, he took part in thousands of surgical procedures and academic studies. His academic work has received 634 citations, with an h-index of 16.
